51st Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting, PIFLM51 --Advice for media

The 51st Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) and related meetings, is coming to Suva, Fiji from 11-14 July 2022.

The meeting will be hosted by the Government of Fiji, led by the Forum Chair, Prime Minister of Fiji, Honourable Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama.

The Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Ratu Sukuna Rd, as well as other key landmarks, will be key venues for the range of meetings and events from July 11- 14.

Prep meetings in the days before the 11th will include meetings of the Pacific ACP Leaders, and others.

Mainstream news media are advised a PIFL51 media centre will be opened from Sunday afternoon, the 10th of July, at the Holiday Inn.

Media accreditation to the Forum Leaders meeting is restricted to bona fide news practitioners or those commissioned by news platforms. Media accreditation approval forms part of, but does not include other arrangements regarding logistics, travel, and visa accreditation to Fiji.
