INVITATION TO MEDIA: Signing of WTO/Forum MoU, Apia, SAMOA

Editors and news directors are invited to send a journalist and cameraperson/photographer to attend the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, at 5pm (Samoa time), Wednesday, 28 November at the Tanoa Tusitala Boardroom, Apia, Samoa.
The MoU will be signed by the Director General of WTO, Mr Pascal Lamy and the Secretary General of the Forum Secretariat, Tuiloma Neroni Slade.
Through this MoU, the WTO will work with the Forum Secretariat to provide trade-related technical assistance to the countries of the Pacific Islands Forum. The MoU extends the long-standing cooperation between the two organisations which began in 2000.
