10 February 2023, Suva -Fiji: The Pacific Islands Forum Special Leaders Retreat will be in Denarau, Nadi, Fiji on 24 February 2023 and will be preceded by a Traditional Welcome Ceremony and a Welcome Dinner on 23 February 2023.
The meeting will be hosted by the Government of Fiji, led by the Forum Chair and Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, the Honourable Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka.
The Sheraton Golf and Beach Resort in Nadi will be the key venue for the meeting and related events.
Mainstream news media are advised that a Media Centre will be made available from Tuesday afternoon, 21 February, at the Sheraton Resort. Access to the Media Centre will be granted to accredited Media Personnel only.
Media accreditation to the Forum Leaders meeting is restricted to bona fide news practitioners or those commissioned by news platforms. The media accreditation process will close at 10am on 17 February 2023 (FJT).
Media accreditation approval forms are part of, but does not include other arrangements regarding logistics, travel, and visa accreditation to Fiji.
